I love this app. Great way to get up to date news

The paper is very easy to page through with the different section icons. And no newsprint on my fingers!

Easy to use, looks good on IPad, good way to keep up-to-date when you dont have time for print paper.

I really enjoy reading the daily articles from this app. Very easy to navigate. The editorial and opinion section is not included.

Its amazing that in 2015 an app for something as simple as a newspaper could be so lousy, but it is positively abysmal. Asks you to login for every article, search doesnt work, absolute garbage and a tedious exercise in frustration.

This is a clunky app. My experience has been poor. It keeps the same stories on various pages and doesnt always update correctly.

Easy to find news about my hometown...

There are some issues with this. I have an active account and anytime I log in and try to read an article it kicks me back to login again. I tried to email customer support and even the email kicked back.

Same as the second reviewer...logged in and confirmed credential but cant read anything because it keeps kicking me back to login. Frustrating...and Im a subscriber.

The app will not let me log in.

Big improvement over the last version if youre actually able to login. Customer support was able to help. Apparently, the app uses a different login than the website. Go figure...

Still get message that I must connect to the Internet when I am connected on some articles. Aggravating to say the least. I have been getting the same picture on the second page for months. Randomly it asks me to login. I cant think of a worse app on my iPad. I would give it 0 stars if possibles. Update: Nothing fixed in months. Update: Cant tell if their new app they have been hyping for weeks works. I tried to use it and it ask me to login. I tried using the password that I know is correct with no luck. Tried link to reset and never received an email with a password rest. No a good preview so far.

If you are looking for the news covered in the paper. Good luck. This app seems to be organized, but try to find a specific article you read in the printed version. Not a chance. There is not a search feature. Just titles of articles from today or maybe last week. One example - I tried to find the article "Waco benefitting from creative energy of Fixer Upper couple (Chip and Joanna Gaines) published 12/05/2015. If it located in the app, I could not find it. How about an archive of previous articles. Nope. Not with this app. If I was able to get back the original app, I would be ecstatic. I have already cancelled by subscription to the app. So long.

This new app needs a logo work. Previous version and layout was much better. Login is not a problem for me but I have issues with about everything else. A few of examples: the political cartoon in opinion section is from several days ago; ive read lead stories in news, food, A&E sections in previous editions; lots of other old news is interspersed with latest; can no longer look at previous comics, etc. I will no longer read the E-N online until the problems are corrected and hopefully theyll bring back the "newspaper" format. Id give it a "0" if I could. FSM

I can log in on my computer but cannot in the app using the same user id and password. I have deleted this worthless app.

While the new app initially loaded more quickly, its sections simply dont match the physical paper. There is no "metro" section, for instance. This app feels like it was made for Hearst and imposed on the EN. Now I find it easier to read the print version than this one.

I just used the new version of the app. It loaded quickly and I was able to navigate without using the tutorial. I did check the tutorial after going through the sections. I did not find "Believe it or not" which has been a problem with all versions of the app. The fact that I didnt have to wait for an edition selection to load is a great improvement. At first look, I am impressed.

Cannot view past editions anymore. NOT GOOD.

I was a big fan of the old app despite its quirks and eagerly anticipated the much trumped new edition. What a disappointment. This version is impossible to navigate in any reasonable way and is cluttered with zombie content that just wont go away. Its not news if it happened a week ago. This is an embarrassment. I will go back to reading the paper edition.
